About Me
As a second-year B.Arch student at USC, I explore how progressive material strategies and walkable urban design can reshape our cities. My work focuses on environmental performance, site-specific materiality, and public-realm integration to foster sustainable, pedestrian-centered urban environments.

Taking advantage of an architecture site visit, I stayed for LACMA’s free jazz night and recreated the fast-paced energy of La La Land, cutting between Mia dancing and Sebastian playing. I matched the color grading to scenes from the film for a more immersive feel and incorporated an effect from Project Hail Mary to create smoother transitions.

Inspired by the end credits of Spider-Man: Brand New Day, this video captures the distinct essence of Seoul and Taipei through still videos. The intro draws additional inspiration from a fan video to double down on that classic Spider-Man aesthetic right from the start.

On a day trip along the Monterey and Big Sur coastline with friends, the scenic drive sparked a creative idea. I decided to try out the "grid video" trend, but wanted to push the concept further. Taking inspiration from Minecraft visual edits, I integrated blocky HUD elements and audio files from the game directly into my real-world footage, turning the coastal views into an interactive-style world.

This animation compiles four separate pieces created for a previous assignment into a single, cohesive narrative. I selected the soundtrack to evoke a surreal atmosphere, leaning into the cosmic, planetary themes of my earlier work. I wanted to build an immersive void that draws the viewer in. To tie the distinct segments together, I applied a unified white pixelation effect across all four sequences. This project allowed me to experiment with new software that could showcase my ideas.

To wrap up my first semester, I wanted to capture the stark contrast between the constant demands of studio and the freedom of stepping away to enjoy life.
